My Opinion About DirtyHomeVids:
Dirty Home Vids sounds like the kind of site that any amateur enthusiast with a thing for seeing real couples get down to it would get off on. Certainly, at one point or another, we all want to spy on what our next-door neighbours are up to as the candlelight flickers from their bedroom windows. On this site, we at least get some insight.
DirtyHomeVids content does populate the members' area, but the first thing in your face is update previews for some of the other sites that you get with your membership. The site certainly isn't short on bonuses, and some of the other 18 exclusive sites are ShabbyVirgins, YoungModelsCasting and DoMyWifeSlut. Despite the amount of content, the update schedule leaves a lot to be desired. The last episode was added in January 2007 and, prior to that, it looks like new stuff came every two months. It's June as I look at this site, and this little fact doesn't bode well for DirtyHomeVids.com, at least in my books.
There are a whopping 34 movies uploaded, but don't get excited yet! There are also 34 picture sets. I must admit that I wasn't holding out for great photos. In my opinion, any site that doesn't take care of their members isn't likely to deliver great quality content. However, I was surprised to see that the 1023x680 photos were actually as sparking clear as a newly washed window. They were a little too upper-end, and what I mean is that while they aren't glamour shots, they're shot by a professional and not by the amateurs taking part in the scenes. This is fine, because I thought the photos were perfect, but in a niche where a person is looking for the candidness of a couple having sex and taping themselves, I'd expect the pics to be a bit rawer. There are between 70 and 90 images in a set, and you can view them in a slideshow or download single photos.
After seeing the pictures, I was hoping that at least the videos gave me the feeling that I was watching amateurs. There's a full movie download, and most of the Windows Media Videos have a 20-minute length. The files are enormous, yet the episodes are divided into manageable clips for those of you with a slow to medium connection. Even the clips take a bit to download, but boy, are they worth it. The crispness gave the scenes a bit too much of a professional look. However, the way the flicks were shot at least added to the whole concept of homemade porn. If this doesn't bother you, then you can look forward to some pretty kick-ass hardcore scenes. To give you an idea of the action, a new 3145Kbps 832x468 movie featuring Erika and a dude named Sean starts off as one might expect an amateur-shot film to begin, with a POV view of a blowjob. The camera is mounted on a tripod for the sex scenes, which again gives the illusion of homemade, and you can expect a change back to POV during the film at some point.
Final Verdict:
There's no doubt that the quality of the video outdoes most sites these days, but let's face it, DirtyHomeVids isn't supposed to be anything but amateur. I still think the scenes are hot, just that the site neglects the whole concept of homemade and it's hard to believe that there isn't someone else in the room helping to film the action. The flicks are still awesome, but the only real reason to become a member is to experience the vast exclusive bonuses, because this site hasn't even updated more than once this year.
